Scrap Chairs Are Far From The Landfill!

Seth and Jonathan are architects collectively creating amazing, innovative designs. Eight years of cooperative and exhilarated designs has landed them in Seattle, where Graypants, Inc. was invented from a passion to make a difference through stylized design.

Scrap Chairs are the result of rummaging through trash and creating handsome, useful products. The chairs of layered plywood scraps follow earlier versions of cardboard and newspaper.

Seth Grizzle and Jonathan Junker of Graypants create Scrap Chairs from recycled cardboard, newspaper, freight pallet slip sheets, and salvaged scrap plywood. The design uses “sustainable” materials resulting in a piece that is a cleverly, crafted creation! Seth and Jonatahn make chairs, lamps and end tables, always using sustainable materials…

Via Scrap Chairs, Grizzle and Junker have created a concept that shows materials have lives, and at the end of their lives, they still give tangibly and naturally. Old materials on their way to the landfill can easily find new identities! Great design and overall coolness!
