I have to admit, I’m a self-professed organic face cream junkie. Yep, I love my creams and now that I’m getting older, I’m aware of how necessary they are. To me, it’s all about keeping your skin in good shape, feeding it the nutrients it needs, staying out of the sun, drinking plenty of water, eating organic and so on. I’m not one who plans on dabbling with Botox and facelifts, but rather will rely on organic creams and a healthy lifestyle to help me keep my glowing youth, (wink, wink).
I was really excited when I was asked to write a review for Sustainable Youth’s Immune Performance Elasticity Cream, because that meant I would get to sample this wonder of a face cream. Oh, it was like Christmas morning when the package arrived. I couldn’t wait to rub it all over my face! The company suggests that you use the product for at least four weeks to be able to gage results. It’s been a bit over four weeks for me and I have to say I’m sold. Sustainable Youth claims their products have been clinically proven to help improve your skin’s elasticity and firmness up to 72% with 8 weeks of use. I have to say that although I’m not paying attention to my growing crows feet daily, I have truly noticed that my skin feels a bit tighter and that’s a nice plus.
The company’s philosophy is that beauty can and should be achieved from the inside out. Their products are vegan, organic and all natural. The best way to preserve and protect your youth, beauty and vitality is by taking steps both internally and externally to renew and restore your skin’s elasticity and firmness. That’s the fountain of youth. Take care of your body and it will take care of you. If you nourish it poorly, it will look poorly.
The company offers a Total Immune Performance Regimen, which comprises of a Supplement, Revitalizing Serum and Elasticity Cream. I only sampled the Elasticity Cream, which contains a wide range of organic ingredients, including rice extract, green, white and rooibos tea extracts, as well as others. The cream is a lightweight, daily moisturizer that’s really fine and not greasy, plus “a little goes a long way.” It’s one of the freshest smelling skincare products I’ve ever used. The cream leaves my face feeling fresh and soothed. All the products are 100% natural, organic, green and free of animal-derived ingredients and animal testing. That’s really important to me.
The proprietary products are based on the company’s clinically validated organic active compound, Alasta, the immune-stimulatory extracts discovered inside the rind of the aloe plant. The leaves are harvested by hand during a specific two hours of the day when the plant transfers the active ingredient into the leaves.
The company holds itself to the highest standards of ethics and sustainability as part of their principals to restore the beauty of the environment – one person at a time. It’s stated that their goal is to sustainably advance green science to achieve unparalleled results and offer 100% organic, natural and green nutricosmetic, and cosmeceutical technologies, extracts and products that can visibly help improve youth and vitality from the inside out. The Elastifirm Supplement was just featured as a “Hot Look” in this month’s Vanity Fair so you know it’s a hot product.
I’m assuming the Elasticity Cream with last me about 7 weeks, give or take. You can purchase the elasticity cream at Sustainable Youth for $65.00. That’s roughly less then a $1.50 a day. Sustainable Youth is also offering Modern Eco Homes readers a 10% discount on first purchase (except on already discounted kits). Use code 10modernecohomes when you check out. When you think about it that way, it costs very little to maintain a youthful, healthy glow in comparison to Botox!

I’m a cream junkie, too. I’ll have to give this a try.
I live by these two points:
staying out of the sun, drinking plenty of water
