The new green, (LEED), building at One Jackson Square, in Manhattan, embodies a new way of eco-conscious living. It is one of the first LEED certified, environmentally-friendly buildings in the neighborhood and sales are already under way for these 35 modernistic green condos in the heart of Greenwich Village.

A pledge to eco-sustainability is apparent throughout the design, from responsible construction which ensures energy efficiency, to optimal indoor air quality, multiple terraces and a green roof that will comprise more than 20% of the overall site area.
Formulated by esteemed architect William Pedersen, the 11 story building of floor-to-ceiling windows will run along a gentle curve. One Jackson Square will complete a busy crossroad of downtown Manhattan-8th Avenue at 13th Street where the West Village meets Chelsea.
Many of the units offer outdoor space and alluring views, ranging from a dramatic city skyline, to a serene park view. A landscaped courtyard garden provides stylish comfort in this LEED-registered green building which is slated to open for occupancy is summer, 2009.
