Nau, Sustainable Clothing
If you’re not familiar with the name Nau, it’s an ingenious and intriguing sustainable clothing company that was conceived by genius Eric Reynolds, (no longer the owner of the company), and initiated into the world in 2005. For many reasons the company failed to flourish, but it was given a second chance to prosper by the company Horny Toad.
Nau products are super cool, the perfect blend of outdoor & urban fashion sensibility. When I heard they were going under, I was super bummed. Their design philosophy reflects equanimity of beauty, performance and sustainability, which makes their clothing stylish and functional in the most environmentally and socially responsible manner.
Their objective, simply stated, is to do well by doing good. For more background info on how cool they truly are, visit nau.com. Horny Toad has promised to continue to create incredible products and keep Nau’s core philosophies alive.
In the next few weeks, (some point mid October), Nau will celebrate the launch of a brand-new Nau, (thanks to Horny Toad) and begin to release products from their 2008 Fall line. Very, very exciting and we’re patiently anticipating the release. For a sneak peak of a handful of the styles just in time for the change of season, take a look and pick out your new favorite piece, (quick hint, that won’t be easy to do).
