Keeseh Studio is a collective space, (located at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, home of the American Industrial Revolution), of like-minded people who harmonize together on design and all its elements. Keeseh designs are riddled with innovation combining new substances, methodologies, and configurations.

The Studio has just launched a really cool, eco, green competition to promote upcycling, (the use of waste materials to provide useful products of higher quality), and the many ways waste materials ingenerate innovative design. Keeseh studio is inviting students and design zealots to celebrate the pursuit of eco- friendly designs through an international competition utilizing what would normally be considered trash materials.

The intent of the Make Some Green Design Competition 2008 is to encourage the use of wasted materials to create innovative designs by redefining the standards of sustainability and the balance between preservation and development.

The hope is that the competition will provide a new understanding to help educate viewers of the many possibilities; innovation and creative ways upcycling can and does effect the environment.

Modern Eco Homes was asked to be a sponsor of this competition, as well as keep viewers updated on the designs and developments of the competition. Of course we are delighted to be a part of this “green” competition, as well as looking forward to the ingenious ideas individuals submit. I imagine it will be nothing short of absolute coolness!

All entries must be received digitally or by mail no later than October 1st.

3 entries will win media coverage of their products or process and one person will win a cash prize of $1000.
