What a great week in green living and news. Check out these awesome green sites for the latest and greatest info, we all need to know!

  • Where is America’s first fully sustainable block?  Dallas, Texas! With architectural samples coming from designers in 14 countries, the block’s structure plans to include on-site food production, renewable energy generation and a host of other green features.   • A clever new brand challenges consumerism with a line of ethically sourced products and an ironic message: use less. Read all about this awesome greeness at MaxGladwell.
  • The High Line, New York’s long anticipated park in the sky, finally opened to the public June 9th. Ecofabulous has the story on this ecofabulousness.
  • EcoRock green drywall gets the world’s first UL environmental validation. If you haven’t heard of EcoRock, you need to head over to JetsonGreen and read all about it.

  • Seventh Generation’s Jeffrey Hollender has decided to step down from his role as CEO of the natural-products company, leaving Chuck Maniscalco, a former executive at PepsiCo, to take his place. Grist has this news for us.
