Well, we said goodbye to George W. Bush, but we just have to look back at some of his more memorable quotes he made about the environment. Head on over to Huffington Post for a quick bit of entertainment.

When it comes to energy and the environment the time has come to make good on all those Obama campaign promises and it’s up to all of us to keep the new administration toeing the green line. To refresh everyone’s memories, Treehugger has an overview of Obama’s proposed policies.

Our friends over at The Green Girls caught up with a ton of A-listers on the red carpet at The Art Of Elysium’s 2nd Annual Black Tie Charity Gala “Heaven,” from Elijah Wood, the CEO of Cartier, Frederic de Narp, to the Arquette’s and many more! Head on over to hear why they shared their experiences with the kids, their connection with The Art Of Elysium & why they are avid supporters of this helpful cause.

The crew running the Clean + Green Video Shorts Contest over at Clean Energy Resource Teams have opened up voting for the best short film on renewable energy. The winners will be screened on February 10th at the CERT’s conference being held in St. Cloud, Minnesota. To view the rest of the entries, head on over to Treehugger here.

We all know that in order to be a green business you have to walk the walk, and walking the walk needs to be more than greening your individual business. Changing your business practices is only one piece of the greening puzzle. Head on over to Ecopreneurist and find six things a small businesses can do to help green the Country.

The Japanese have always been known to develop some of the finest and the most bizarre robots and technologies. To showcase the world what they consider the environmental aspect of technology, a new cruise ship has been developed by Biwakokisen which runs on bio-diesel and generates renewable energy. Ecofriend has the story.

That’s all for this week, until next time.
